The Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Cllr. Geoffery Makhubo, extends a congratulatory message to Power FM as they celebrate their 7-year milestone in radio broadcasting.
Power FM has, over its 7-years of existence, been a voice to the voiceless, provided a platform to the people of Gauteng to express themselves, whilst educating and entertaining. The station continues to make great strides within the broadcasting industry.
“Power FM has provided integrity that supports government’s objectives of social-cohesion and nation-building. It has been 7 years of radio excellence, robust engagement and entertainment.
“Power FM is a platform that contributes towards ensuring that we drive transformation and diversity,” said Mayor Makhubo.
“The era we find ourselves in requires an injection of youthful thinking. This World Class African City needs the assistance and involvement of vibrant and educational platforms to achieve its priorities,” the Mayor added.
The City of Johannesburg congratulates Power FM on its phenomenal journey. We wish you many more years of countless achievements and growth.
