The City of Johannesburg’s COVID-19 Disaster Management Centre team is requesting individuals and companies to assist with donations as it continues to coordinate efforts to stop the spread of Coronavirus in the City of Johannesburg.
Several teams in that are on the fore front of curbing the virus throughout the City are hard at work, responding and treating the affected and suspected cases while educating members of the community about the importance of limiting the social gatherings and respecting the social distance principles.
Companies with extra essential protective equipments such as sanitizers, medical gloves and masks which they are no longer using are urged to donate to the City. These will be utilized by members of the Public Safety, Paramedics, Fire Fighters and Metro Police Offices during this lockdown period.
The City also invites people who own drones to lend them out to the City for use during this lockdown period.
