Municipal legislation requires the City of Johannesburg to review its policies on Property Rates and Credit Control & Debt Rehabilitation on an annual basis, and we are calling on all ratepayers to give their inputs.

In order to include all stakeholders in the review process the City will be rolling out a series of public meetings.

“Residents, ratepayers and stakeholders will get an opportunity to ask questions, give their views and provide input as they help the City craft a Property Rates Policy and Credit Control & Debt Collection Policy that is fair, equitable and affordable," says Kgamanyane Maphologela, Director Communications and Stakeholder Management.

While attendance to these meetings is not limited to specified regions, it is advisable to follow the schedule as stipulated below:
