The City of Johannesburg Speaker of Council, Cllr Vasco da Gama has issued a notice to all Councillors for the 3rd Ordinary Council meeting to deal with Council business.

In accordance with Section 29 of the Municipal Structures Act, 1998 (Act 117 of 1998), the Speaker of Council has advised that the meeting be held as follows:
Date:               Wednesday and Thursday, 16 & 17 March 2022
Time:              10:00
Venue:            Constance Conny Bapela Council Chamber, Metropolitan Centre,
Braamfontein

The Council meeting will be held in line with Directive 6.7 of the Regulations issued by the Minister of Cogta on 3 July 2020 read together with the adjusted Level 1 Regulations issued by the Minister of Cogta on 30 December 2021. These regulations are to ensure strict adherence to all Covid-19 public health and containment prescripts, especially those relating to gatherings, physical distancing, sanitizing and the wearing of face masks.
